Family outings in the woods have become normal for us. Lately there have been a ton of mushrooms popping up all over camp. Phineas isn't quite as interested in them as Matt and I am. I just like how different they all look and find them rather photogenic. Being the ultimate outdoorsman, Matt has a book on safe to eat mushrooms called Edible Mushrooms: Safe to Pick, Good to Eat. I enjoy mushrooms scrambled in eggs or a top a pizza, but raw and straight from nature is tough for me to wrap my head around.
